Harvest Hollow: Maple Marshmallow Chaga Tea

A returning favorite potion for Autumn: adaptogenic chaga, sweet supportive marshmallow, and delicious magical maple.

• Ingredients: Organic Chaga, Organic Marshmallow root, Organic Calendula Blossoms, Organic Chicory Root, Organic Red Rooibos, Sea Salt, Organic Vanilla Extract.

Benefits: Chaga is rich in antioxidants, which can help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. It is an anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting power-house. Marshmallow root soothes the digestive system, supports a healthy respiratory system,  and hydrates and promotes healthy skin. Calendula contains flavonoids and carotenoids, which have anti-inflammatory effects.

Preparation/Recipes:

• For full benefits, steep chaga at a low boil for 5-10 minutes, and a second steep for a longer period can extract additional benefits.
• This elixir is your cold weather immune support so we love to make a bulk batch and sip it all day to keep our respiration and digestion humming along deliciously.  Maple syrup is our favorite add in, and a touch of oatmilk is extra cozy.
